Private Sessions

Guided private yoga offers an invaluable opportunity to explore poses in detail, fine-tuning technique and placing the asanas in physical and philosophical context. Available in sixty or ninety-minute lengths, sessions can accommodate individuals or pairs, who may practice separately or as partners.

While the content of each lesson can be personalized to suit individual interests and abilities, each private session offers a carefully constructed series of vinyasa sequences that lead the body through a warm-up, a strengthening series, a balance sequence, deep floor stretching, relaxation poses, and a final meditation. A list of readings is also available to complement the practice.

Drawing on his training in massage, yoga, and reiki, Jason specializes in easing ailments by restoring the body’s natural balance. His unique blend of bodywork uses massage to stimulate nerves and flush toxins from the tissues that feed the muscles and organs. Tailoring his technique to the client's needs, sessions may also include gentle passive stretching and elements of reiki that balance the body's natural energy flow.

Bodywork can be customized for dancers and athletes to alleviate the strain of a training program, or may be used to complement traditional treatments for injury and illness. Each session is designed to relieve stress, reduce inflammation, open neuromuscular and lymphatic passages, and help the body heal itself.

Designed to reduce stress and strengthen awareness, holistic wellness sessions focus the mind's attention on promoting health and harmony from the inside out. Sessions include options for guided meditation and mindfulness training. Structured to act as personalized workshops, sessions explore elements of zen and yogic meditation to find techniques that complement the practitioner's personality and needs.

It takes practice to adopt a mental habit, so holistic wellness sessions work best when taken in a series. Progressing gradually, multiple sessions build a stress-reducing skill set that heightens consciousness, promotes clarity, eases internal tension, and improves attention over time.
